In anticipation of freezing overnight temperatures and the forecast for continued inclement weather causing the potential for unsafe driving conditions, B-ESD will be on a 2-hour late start on Thursday, January 18th. There will be no AM preschool. There will be limited Snow Routes in the Alger and Bow areas. Our hotline (360-542-3420) will be updated by 6:00am on Thursday, January 18th if a decision is made to cancel school. We will also communicate with families via email and auto dialer as soon as possible if a cancellation is required. Update: Due to weather road conditions not improving and staff shortages, Burlington-Edison School District will be closed on Wednesday, January 17, 2024.
